Gower Group Workshop
This group workshop focuses on landscape photography on the coast. We start off on top of the cliffs where we can look down on the sweeping Oxwich Bay before a short walk takes us to overlook the spectacular Three Cliffs Bay, stopping at several different viewpoints along the way to practise techniques. From there, we have the option of going down on to the beach, depending on tide and how we feel on the day. After that, we walk back to the cars and head to Rhossili (transport provided) to one of the best viewpoints on Gower. On this workshop, you will learn how to photograph coastal scenes, see and compose a photo, know what settings to use on your camera, see how filters can benefit your photography and learn how to work with the light you have available.
The maximum group size is 5. The walk is mostly on the coastpath and can be slightly uneven underfoot. It's all about the photography so we spend as long as you want at each stop and I'm there to offer my expert advice at every point.
A set of PDF notes is supplied and there is ongoing support after the workshop via email. At the end of the workshop, I will do a quick demonstration of how I process my photos from the day using Lightroom. I can also show you how I would process one or two of the photos that you took.
I try not to postpone workshops due to the weather, but this particular workshop is on the cliffs so if the weather is truly poor then we will postpone to another date, but this is a last resort.
The workshop duration is around 5 to 6 hours, drinks and light snacks will be provided when we arrive back at the cars.
The price per place on the workshop is £60. To book, select your date below to add your booking to the cart and then pay in the usual way.
If you have any questions or are unsure if your camera is suitable then please do contact Dan.
