Mumbles, Daffodils, Blackpill and Sunrise

On Saturday, I ran a Five Beaches of Gower Workshop and on the way I drove past Blackpill and West Cross. I noticed the daffodils were looking really nice, so yesterday morning I got up at 5:30am and left the house at 6am. I was really after the post-sunrise light, so waited until the sun had risen. Mumbles in the Snow

Over the last couple of days we’ve had over 7 inches (18cm) of snow fall! The road we live on, at the top of a hill, never gets gritted so I took a gamble and braved the roads this morning. A Frosty Start

I went down to Black Pill yesterday morning to photograph the crocuses with Mumbles in the background. They aren’t fully out yet – it just shows how cold the winter has been as on 1st March last year daffodils were out in this location.
