My First Visit to Fan Nedd

It has been a very busy time recently with continuing sorting out my Uncle’s estate, an exhibition, fulfilling orders from my website and my sister’s wedding in France. It means that I haven’t been able to get out since April to take any new photos, but this week I have finally been out – not once, but twice with a possible third time this evening! Panorama of Mewslade Bay on Gower

After seeing sunrise at Fall Bay, I walked on to Mewslade Bay. This was a far more challenging panorama to shoot as the waves were coming in quicky and it’s easy to get the waves split between frames so they don’t stitch very well. I took several to make sure I got it right – I filled a 2Gb flash card in four minutes! You can click on the image to see it large…

Autumn in the Black Mountain

After a poor night’s sleep due to injuring my back somehow, I drove out to the Black Mountain to look for a new Carreg Cennen Castle viewpoint. The weather was lovely, clear and warm and a delight to be outside. I stopped on the way when I saw the mist in the valley below me. This photo was taken near the quarry by Foel Fawr before the hairpin bends drop you off the Brecons.
