A Quick Visit to Fan Brycheiniog

Pen y Fan and Corn Du

Our summer has been incredibly busy and we’ve barely had time to breathe. And even this weekend when we’re at a music festival, I have to leave there at 5am on Saturday to go to Brecon for the craft fair before returning to the festival again in the evening. It’ll be a long day but I do love attending the Brecon craft fair and meeting lots of people.

An Early Start at Langland Bay

Langland Bay

It was pretty cloudy and I didn’t hold much hope out, but about 20 mins after sunrise (I didn’t see the sun) the sky lit up and a few minutes. I took several shots trying to get the wave just right, a sort of hit and miss affair.

Pen y Fan from Corn Du at Night

As 2013 nears the end, I thought I would pick my favourite 10 photos that I’ve taken throughout the year. In no particular order…

1. Corn Du and Pen y Fan from Upper Neuadd Reservoir
January 16th: This was my first trip out for a while and I was so blown away by the light and the scene that I spent over an hour on this spot! What caught my eye was the ice that was vaguely ……
