What’s In The Garden?

In order to get a quick break from the house and surprisingly quiet and sleepy baby, I nipped out into the garden for a while and went to the far end of the wild bit we have – we own the very edge of the forest. I rarely use my Sigma 105mm and extension tubes, but after seeing today’s results I think I ought to use them more often. There was only the gentlest of breezes occasionally so it was fairly easy to get sharp photos – especially being able to use live view to check the focus.

Now this is what I’d be spending my time on photographing if I was any good! I love the beauty of nature in detail. You are a master at this Dan!

We have some superb flowers in the garden at the farm at the moment if you wanted to extend the selection of your close-ups. Oriental Poppies, Lupins and some wonderful acer trees all very beautiful, natural, architectural structures.
