It’s been a while since my last post and, to tell the truth, not a lot has happened. I’m moving my office out of the spare bedroom to make space for the new baby when he/she arrives so have been manically decorating my new office. It’s been a mammoth task as it involved having a conservatory built to become the dining room and lounge and then partitioning the lounge diner into a lounge/TV room and my office. After a couple of weeks of intensive stripping, skimming and painting I’m almost there. The oak flooring is going down today and after that it’s just little bits to finish.
I’ve had my share of printer troubles. My Epson R2880 broke down at just 5 months old and for one reason or another it is taking ages to get fixed so I’ve had to buy a Canon Pixma Pro 9500 Mk II so I can keep printing and will sell the Epson when it’s repaired. The Canon is very impressive and gave very good prints straight out of the box, although I’m still have a custom profile built for me so the colours are spot on.
I’ve revitalised my greetings cards range and now have two sizes A5 (folded to A6) and A4 (folded to A5). The new A4 ones look stunning! I’ve also rejigged the prices too. The A5 ones are £1 and the A4 ones are £1.50. It’ll take a little while for this website to reflect those prices online so if you don’t see what you want, just contact me and I’ll be happy to help.
I’m also introducing a new frame size – 60x35cm will be my new large panorama. The first frames should be in within a couple of weeks, hopefully for Brecon craft fair. I haven’t decided on the price yet, but the mounted prints look absolutely stunning! It seems to be a very aesthetically pleasing ratio.
And last but not least, here is a scan of the photo of baby number two at 12 weeks and 4 days. He/she is due on 5th May 2010. And don’t forget, you can follow me on Twitter by searching for @dansantillo.
