Calling all readers

When I first had my blog back in 2005, I built up a fairly wide range of readers. I eventually found it cumbersome to update the blog frequently and it kind of fell by the wayside. With this new software, it’s so easy and I will be posting very regularly. I really appreciate everyone who reads this and was wondering if you could add a comment so I know you’re there :-) And do tell your friends about it – I’d love to increase my readership.

With Willow at nursery, I’ve spent most of the day working through my backlog of photos from 2009. I’ve processed ones from a day I took 215! It was my trip to Mynydd Illtud, Craig Cerrig-gleisiad and back to Mynydd Illtud.

I went to Mynydd Illtwyd first of all and sky was very unusual!

Then I decided to walk up the steep part of Craig Cerrig-gleisiad…

The steep part turned out to be rather dangerous without crampons (which incidentally arrived in the mail today) but I survived. To be honest, given hind-sight, I wouldn’t have attempted it had I known how frozen the snow was…

The sun didn’t really come out all day.

On the way home, I stopped by Mynydd Illtwyd again.

    Hi Dan

I’ve been here since nearly the beginning I think. What I found most intriguing at first was the story of you giving up you giving up your job to become a fulltime pro – I think your story was featured in a magazine which pointed me towards your site. I think that was 2-3 years ago.

Obviously, things are going well. What would be interesting would a a few more “in-depth” posts with a bit more info on how the process of becoming fulltime has panned out, without giving any of your “trade secrets” away. For example, what worked well, what didn’t? What would you do differently? What avenues to market did you find that you didn’t expect? etc.

    Best regards…
