All the photos on this website are available to buy in a variety of formats. You can also buy "A Photographic Journey Around ... Gower", a book written by Dan and from around August, calendars are available too.
Prices and options can be found on the individual photo pages. Prices are the same across the board, for example, the cost of a 24x30cm framed photo is the same for every single photo.
For further information and photos of what the mounts, frames and canvases look like, see the individual photo pages and click on the 'more information' link.
Traditional Prints: Prints can be mounted or framed, except for the 60x20cm and 100x33cm large panoramas where you have the option of buying just the print - these are designed to be framed with non-reflective glass and sit against the glass without a mount. High quality photographic matt paper and ink are used and, when behind glass, the print is expected to last for tens of years. Archival quality ph neutral mount boards are used and the photo is attached with a t-hinge to ensure the paper can respond to atmospheric changes. The Photographer's name is written lightly in pencil on the bottom right of the mount where it would normally be signed (except for Dan's own photos which will be signed as usual).
Canvas Prints: These are printed on extremely high quality canvas which is hard wearing and comes with a lifetime guarantee. They are water resistant, stain resistant and will not crack on the corners or edges. The only stretcher bars Dan buys are made from high quality European pine with no knots, although old stock of fir bars in some sizes are currently being used up (this cheaper wood won't affect the canvas in any way).
If you want a specific size that isn't listed, please contact Dan for a quote.
All the photos on Dan Santillo are available for purchasing for stock use, for example, brochures, websites, etc. - please contact Dan with details of the intended usage to get a quote.
The cost of postage and packing is £3.50 for mounted prints and £6.95 for framed photos and canvases. Delivery is either by Royal Mail or courier, depending on the size and weight - mounted prints are typically sent via Royal Mail whilst the framed photos are sent by courier. The very large panoramic photos (100x40cm, 100x33cm and 60x24in) can be only be collected from Swansea, Pontardawe or Brecon - this is clearly marked on the individual photo page - please contact Dan to arrange collection before ordering.
Everything is made to order. Dan can normally get everything made within a day and sent the day after. Canvas prints and large panoramas take longer as Dan has them printed for him. For a canvas print, a week is a rough guide. If you need the order urgently, please contact Dan to let him know and he will do everything he can to meet your deadline.
Payments are handled by PayPal (you don't need a PayPal account) on their secure server so you can pay by credit/debit card. None of the credit/debit card details are passed to this website - all that Dan gets told is the name, address, email and whether the payment was successfully made. Alternatively, you can phone Dan with your credit card details to place an order. If you live locally, it may be possible to collect your order from him - please contact Dan for further information.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a cooling off period of 7 days after receiving the delivery during which you can cancel the order and have a full refund. If you decide to exercise your right to cancel, you will be responsible for shipping the goods back to Dan at your expense so please ensure you choose an insured courier. Please contact Dan first to let him know to expect a delivery.
Dan is self-employed and it is just him running this business. He takes great pride in what he does and the goods that he produces and will do his utmost to make sure that you are happy with what you order. If for whatever reason you aren't happy then please do contact Dan and he will do all he can to resolve any issue.
