Over Easter we drove back to Saltash to visit family for the Easter weekend. I made sure I used the time to take some new photos of the area. This photo was taken the morning before we left – perhaps one of the easier photos as the camera was in ……
When in Cornwall, I had a sunrise down on Saltash Waterfront planned so got up early and arrived at 4:50am. The BBC website said sunrise was at 5:06am. At 5:20am, the sun rose and I shot several photos. This is one of my favourites:

I’m just back from 2 weeks in my childhood town of Saltash, Cornwall. One of the reasons for going is the elusive steam train. For years I’ve been trying to get a photo of a steam train on the Brunel Bridge. It’s always either been cancelled and the weekend after ……
Rather than go out in the snow, I’m going through my 2009 photos and putting them where they belong in libraries, etc. I’ve just processed this one that I took after the celebration fireworks – the smoke is what’s left over from the immense display.

In the Buy section of this site, I sell my photos canvas prints. I’ve just made up a 16×10″ canvas of the Saltash fireworks which looks absolutely stunning! They sell for £38. The canvas is water-resistant and hard wearing. I’ve sold several of this size as they are cheap enough ……
I went down to Saltash in Cornwall over the weekend to photograph the steam train going over the Royal Albert Bridge (aka Brunel Bridge). Unfortunately, the steam train was cancelled at the last minute, although I didn’t find out until I’d waited a few hours for it… The fireworks in ……
The Brecon Craft Fair was enjoyable and slightly better than this time last year, but still not great. My new display went down very well and a lot of people seemed to look at my photos, a lot more than normal. There are some more improvements to come…
