There is a really nice road to drive that goes from Crofty to Llanrhidian. It runs along the marsh, but can get submerged at high tide. It was a particularly high tide this morning so I headed down there to get a photo for my book.

Paviland Cave is where the remains of the ‘Red Lady of Paviland’ were discovered. ‘She’ was originally thought to be a Roman female, as the bones were dyed with red ochre and accompanied by grave goods. However, it was later discovered that ‘she’ was a stone age male, but the ……
A couple of weeks ago I went out for sunrise to capture another panorama. Unfortunately, the sun was only out long enough to capture one photo and it was a panorama. Nevertheless, I am pleased with the result.

After seeing sunrise at Fall Bay, I walked on to Mewslade Bay. This was a far more challenging panorama to shoot as the waves were coming in quicky and it’s easy to get the waves split between frames so they don’t stitch very well. I took several to make sure ……
