After a poor night’s sleep due to injuring my back somehow, I drove out to the Black Mountain to look for a new Carreg Cennen Castle viewpoint. The weather was lovely, clear and warm and a delight to be outside. I stopped on the way when I saw the mist in the valley below me. This photo was taken near the quarry by Foel Fawr before the hairpin bends drop you off the Brecons.
I then thread my way down some horrendously narrow lanes to a view point overlooking Carreg Cennen Castle.
On my back home, I stopped briefly to see what was over a little rise and found this view. It’s just a pity the castle is below the horizon.

I particularly like the misty one and the middle one :-)
