Après Exhibition

I took down my photo exhibition that has been on display in Oystermouth Castle during April. As always, I left a comment book for people to write in if they felt they wanted to. Here is a selection of comments left:

“Fantastic pics; Great artistic eye; Well presented”
“Beautiful photography, I wish I had enough money to buy one”

It may seem a little self-congratulatory posting these comments, but it makes such a difference to get lovely positive feedback and it’s nice to share :-)

Bracelet Bay and Mumbles Lighthouse

This morning I went out for sunrise for the first time in a while. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky, which meant the sunrise had the potential to be fairly mundane. However, I recently bought a new 10 stop ND filter which reduces the amount of light that goes into the lens by 10 stops. It means that an exposure that would normally be 1/60s becomes somewhere around 30 seconds. Here are the results from this morning’s excursion:

April Photo Exhibition at Oystermouth Castle

Today, Easter Sunday, my new exhibition opens in Oystermouth Castle, Mumbles. The exhibition shows a lot of new work from 2010, so much is unseen even by regular attendees to my exhibitions. There are 16 panels which take you on a journey around Gower, starting with Mumbles and ending on Cefn Bryn after going around the coast. There is also a selection of canvases. Entry to the exhibition is free and it’s open from 11am to 5pm every day. If you choose to visit the castle as well, it’s just £1 per adult and 80p per child. To get into the exhibition, go into the castle and turn left to the white structure. The exhibition is open for all of April.
